Customer Success Teammate

Compensation // Hourly at rate commensurate with experience
Travel // Low. Occasional trade shows possible.

This person has got to be hyper organized, have an amazing bedside manner, and feel comfortable explaining and dealing with technical concepts. As part of the FUSE Customer Care Team, day-to-day tasks would include:

  • Triage of support tickets — interfacing between customers and the FUSE engineering team — while meeting FUSE’s service-level agreement (SLA).

  • Keeping on top of active tickets until they reach closed status. This typically involves a good deal of customer and engineering team follow-ups. Rinse and repeat.

  • Answering the call — literally — when customers phone for support in contrast to sending an email.

  • Handling Tier I requests independently without having to involve FUSE Engineering.

  • Stay on top of the latest the FUSE Content Visualization Platform has to offer; Counsel customers on other FUSE features or related services that complement their FUSE implementation; Prepare and send agreements for add-on services.

Using a combination of a phone, tablet, and/or computer this person would respond to new tickets as they come in, communicate regarding existing tickets (with customers and the engineering team), resolve some issues independently, and see to resolution of issues from conception to completion. Extensive training and support are provided — no prior experience in our field is required per se.

 

Onboarding Advisor

Compensation // Hourly plus commission
Travel // Low. Occasional trade shows possible.

This person is an evangelist for FUSE — scheduling and running demos, answering questions, following-up with (and generating) leads over telephone and email, and campaigning for FUSE at every opportunity. Day-to-day tasks would include:

  • Keeping meticulous records in our CRM software of contacts made with leads over telephone, email, or in-person.

  • Showing FUSE in action, demonstrating features, and answering questions about its technology, pricing, and support.

  • Researching prospective customers and counseling those prospects on how FUSE will affect change in their organization.

  • Prepare and send statements of work and contracts.

  • Guide new FUSE customers along the onboarding journey — initial contact > demo > contracting > revisions > launch.

Ideal candidate is looking for a part-time engagement to supplement other demands on their time. Quota based on an algorithm tied to the number of hours worked, the number of demos generated, and the number of leads converted. Extensive training and support are provided — no prior experience in our field is required, per se, although being comfortable in a sales environment is key.
