FUSE SEARCH Integration
Your organization may store Publications, Events, Products, or similar in Digitell’s OPUS platform. The good news is, FUSE can include all of your Digitell-based content in your FUSE instance! Hooray!
FUSE uses the OPUS API to connect to this content. To get started, you’ll need to ask your Digitell account manager for an API key.
Available Fields
FUSE can display, sort/filter on many fields that come over the OPUS/Digitell API. You can browse the documentation below. While it skews technical, you can glean from it what fields are available and let FUSE support know what you’re interested in retrieving.
All the API documentation is Google Docs-based and will open in a new window.
Publications
We’ll need the publication_id of the publication you’re interested in indexing.
Collections
This can get confusing. For example, On-Demand Webinars may be listed under the Collections API while Upcoming Live ones fall under the Events API.
Type is an important field here - e.g. Archived Session or Convention Session.
Events
See note under Collections, above.
Excluding Content from the Index
You may not want all of your Digitell content to display - maybe the content has expired, maybe some isn’t intended for public consumption, etc. Each Digitell customer is unique in what field(s) determine these types of scenarios. Some are as simple as Active = true or false while others are not as obvious (e.g. Category contains Do Not Search or Expire Date is less than or equal to today).
